Positivit FORMULA

Study the "POSITIVIT RESILIENCE" flip book before you move through the formula. 

You have moved out of your OK Zone because you are faced with what we can call "challenges".   Any one or more challenges can push you into the High Zone or the Low Zone where you feel stuck.

The goal of POSITIVIT FORMULA is to change your body sensations, feelings, thoughts and beliefs from negative energy to calm and peaceful energy...to move you from the High Zone or the Low Zone back into the Resilient/OK Zone.  Following these 5 steps can be awesome.  It takes a little time and effort, but it really works!  Try it!

1.  Name Your Challenge.

A likely challenge for a student:

Not being able to go to school

Not being with your friends

Online class assignments

Planning for college

All the bad news about the virus

Boredom

Not being able to play your sport

Can't sleep

Physical pain

Something someone said or did

Adverse family issues

Unpleasant memories

Test Anxiety

Low grades

Family brokenness 

Just "Stressed Out"!

Another issue

Take a few moments to name the challenge you are facing.  Work on just one at a time.  Write your challenge down.

2.  Name and feel the emotions arising from your challenge.

Take a few moments to name and feel the emotion arising from your experience of the challenge. Write your emotion down.  Work on one at a time. 

Some likely emotions: 
Angry
Discouraged
Afraid
Overwhelmed
Helpless
Hopeless
Anxious 
Confused
Depressed
Others

Measure the intensity of your emotion on a scale from 0 to 10,  2 or 3 being not very strong, 10 being strong and intense.  After you have worked through your POSITIVIT SKILL you can measure again to notice your progress in changing your mood.

3.  Name and feel the Zone you are in. 

What Zone are you in?  Do you feel stuck there?

4.  Practice a POSITIVIT SKILL.

Practice one or two of the skills on the POSITIVIT SKILLS 

PAGE.  Take your time.  Give the activity time to change your mood.

After you have worked through your POSITIVIT SKILL measure the intensity of your emotion arising from your challenge on a scale from 0 to 10 again.  If you measure a low number or a 0, go to the next step.  If there is still some intensity, do another POSITIVIT SKILL or, if you have tried EFT Tapping, repeat the tapping round until you reach 0.  

5. Notice and enjoy the change in your mood.

Are you back in your OK Zone?  Notice how you feel now.
