Following this simple 5 step formula when you want to free yourself of anxiety, stress or depression can be awesome. It takes a little time and effort, but it really works! Try it!
1. Clearly identify the stressful, anxiety causing challenge.
Upcoming sports event
Something someone said or did
Adverse family issues
Just "Stressed Out"!
2. Next clearly feel and name the emotion/s that have arisen from your experience of the challenge/s.
3. Next identify the EMOTIONAL ZONE in which you find yourself.
Keyed up, Anxious, Angry, Scared Zone
Overwhelmed, Shut Down, Sad Zone
4. Next take the time to do the positive exercises suggested in Positivit that will effectively eliminate your adverse feelings and responses and move you to the
Relaxed, Safe, Connection Zone.
5. Finally clearly identify and enjoy the positive outcome/s of your healing work!!!
Emotional Zones are the combination of body sensations, feelings, thoughts and beliefs. When we sense threat we move to Red or Blue. The Positive Practices move us back to Green.
